Behind this association is above all a passionate, human team, driven by a committed founder.
Each person shares their experiences, values and energy — giving this deeply human project its full meaning.
Laurent Perraud
A former elite freestyle snowboarder turned head of a family SME of around forty people, it was after years of seeking meaning in my various ventures that in 2019 a turning point came in my life. The time for "others" arrived, and I steered my new projects towards discovery, hospitality, sharing, and humanitarian aid.
Over recent years I have made several trips to sensitive countries such as India and Nepal. I needed to be on the ground with the NGOs, understand their needs, and appreciate the remarkable work being done there.
I therefore decided to found the association REJOICE in 2024 to provide financial support to NGOs abroad. What drove my choice was the extreme urgency in which some of these organisations find themselves, fighting a level of deprivation that is hard to imagine.
