Everything we're often asked

Yes. Laurent Perraud, president of Rejoice, personally visits the field several times a year (India, Nepal, projects in France) to ensure funds are well used and to maintain direct relationships with partner organisations.

Our principle: no opaque intermediaries, direct links with the local NGOs we support β€” B.I.A. orphanage in Nepal, K.C.E. school in India, etc.

Rejoice is a young non-profit (founded in 2024). Over the 2025 financial year, 91.8% of expenditure was direct financial aid sent to field NGOs (€20,000 out of €21,795 total expenditure). The remaining 8.2% covers Laurent's travel for project monitoring and bank charges.

Rejoice operates with no salaries, no marketing costs, no fundraising expenditure. The structure is deliberately lean to maximise what reaches the field.

The association built up a reserve in 2024–2025: agreements with our field partners (NGOs in India and Nepal) took time to finalise. Those agreements are now in place and significant sums are currently being transferred in the 2026 financial year.

For individuals

As a non-profit of general interest (loi 1901), donations to Rejoice entitle you to:

66% income tax reduction (up to 20% of taxable income). In practice: if you give 100 €, you recover 66 € on your tax bill β€” the donation only costs you 34 €.

75% IFI reduction if you are liable for the French Wealth Tax (up to €50,000 reduction). 100 € given = 25 € remaining out of pocket.

For companies (corporate philanthropy β€” art. 238 bis CGI)

Companies benefit from a 60% tax reduction on the donation amount, up to €20,000 OR 0.5% of pre-tax revenue β€” whichever is more favourable.

In practice: a €1,000 donation to Rejoice costs the company only €400 after the reduction. For SMEs, the 0.5% of pre-tax revenue cap often allows going well beyond €20,000. Any excess beyond the cap can be carried forward over the next 5 financial years.

The tax receipt is generated automatically by HelloAsso after each donation, and sent to your inbox.

Yes β€” it's actually the option we prefer: a monthly gift, even a modest one, lets us plan our field commitments over time. HelloAsso offers this option directly in the donation form, and you can cancel at any time.

10 € / month = 120 € / year = 40.80 € net after the tax deduction.

That's possible: you can specify in the message when donating on HelloAsso (or by email to lapoumerole63@gmail.com) the project you care about β€” B.I.A. Nepal orphanage, K.C.E. India school, emergency aid…

We direct these donations to the designated project and keep you informed in our next updates.
